Summary: During the past five decades, a number of research papers appeared in the literature on randomized response technique (RRT) introduced by \textit{S. L. Warner} [J. Am. Stat. Assoc. 60, No. 309, 63--69 (1965; Zbl 1298.62024)] for eliciting information on questions of a sensitive nature. In this chapter, we shall briefly review some of the recent advances relating to RRT.
