Assessment of data redundancy in fuzzy relational databases based on semantic inclusion degree. (English) Zbl 1338.68060
Summary: In this paper, we introduce the notions of semantic space and semantic inclusion degree of fuzzy data, where fuzzy data is represented by possibility distribution. Based on the semantic inclusion degree, we give the assessment criteria of data redundancy in fuzzy relational databases.
