Katz, Darryl Optimal quadrature points for approximating integrals when function values are observed with error. (English) Zbl 0577.65016 Math. Mag. 57, 284-290 (1984). In this very interesting paper, the author constructs optimal quadrature points for approximating integrals with the trapezoidal rule when the function values are observed with errors. By many examples the ability of such quadrature formulas in the field of medicine or pharmacology is underlined.
