Pedersen, Pauli Combining material and element rotation in one formula. (English) Zbl 0709.73077 Commun. Appl. Numer. Methods 6, No. 7, 549-555 (1990). Summary: The paper shows a combined transformation for material and element rotation, related to the finite-element method. With this, the simplest co-ordinate systems can be chosen individually for structure/solid, element and material. A corrected criterion for a material to be orthotropic is also included.
