Snap-buckling of dished shallow shells under uniform loads. (English) Zbl 0887.73027

Summary: A theoretical analysis is presented for the title problem. By means of a modified iteration method, a second-order approximate analytical solution and a set of numerical solutions are given, and effects of geometric and material parameters on the snap-buckling behaviour are discussed.
