Filippova, T. F.; Kurzhanski, A. B.; Sugimoto, K.; Vályi, I. Ellipsoidal calculus, singular perturbations and the state estimation problems for uncertain systems. (English) Zbl 0858.93031 J. Math. Syst. Estim. Control 6, No. 3, 323-338 (1996). The authors investigate dynamical systems modelled by differential inclusions whose dynamic has different time holes with respect to two state variables. They prove that these singular perturbation models can be used to study systems with state constraints. The authors use ellipsoidal techniques – developed by Kurzhanski and Vályi – to obtain a numerical solution to this problem.
