Dynamics of Wolbachia under incomplete CI. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1399.92047

Summary: Dengue fever has become one of the world’s most common vector-borne viral diseases. A novel method to control dengue is to release Wolbachia mosquitoes which has been proved to be effective. In this paper, we discuss the dynamics of Wolbachia with incomplete CI. After analyzing the stability and instability of equilibrium points, we sharply describe the effect of incomplete CI on the threshold value for successful Wolbachia invasion which could offer an intuitive guide for mosquito releasing to ensure the success.
