Summary: A fuzzy system model that permits inductive-deductive logical reasoning under fuzzy conditions is proposed. Inductive and deductive cause-and- effect relations between the input and output sets of the model are examined. A representability theorem that demonstrates the consistency of fuzzy inductive-deductive reasoning and guarantees consistency of interaction between the inductive and deductive models is proved.
