Solution of the problem on stress state of solid cylinders under different boundary conditions on the ends. (Russian, English) Zbl 1114.74417

The authors discuss an approach to solution of a spatial problem on stress state of solid circular cylinder under axisymmetric surface loading for two types of boundary conditions on the ends: simple supporting and rigid fixation. The obtained one-dimensional problems are solved by the stable numerical method of discrete orthogonalization.
