Summary: Two nonlinear inverse problems of acoustic potential on the plane are considered. These problems consist in finding an unknown radiating system from given information on the sound field potential. The method for study of the problem solvability, based upon the theory of variational inequalities and analytical properties of acoustic potentials, is developed.
