Boriseĭko, V. A.; Martynenko, V. S.; Ulitko, A. F. A mixed problem in the potential theory for a band. (Russian) Zbl 0551.31003 Mat. Fiz. Nelineĭn. Mekh. 1(35), 69-72 (1984). A partial differential equation describing the potential in a band with mixed boundary conditions is investigated. The boundary conditions are given in the form of a potential difference for a part of the boundary and in the form of a constant differential of the potential along the other parts. The problem can be transformed into a pair of integral equations. After certain simple transformations, the solution is obtained by using the Wiener-Hopf method. The behaviour of the electrical field in the area between the electrode and non-electrode parts of the band is investigated.
