Summary: We discuss and illustrate several strategies for using technologies in introductory statistics courses. Included are traditional uses of statistical software; extending statistical software with macros for data analysis and simulation; using the Internet to integrate text and software; using the Internet to access information services, data sets, and other resources; posting information on the Web for students to access; using e-mail to have discussions, post information, and ask and answer questions; and downloading files from ftp sites.

This reference list is based on information provided by the publisher or from digital mathematics libraries. Its items are heuristically matched to zbMATH identifiers and may contain data conversion errors. In some cases that data have been complemented/enhanced by data from zbMATH Open. This attempts to reflect the references listed in the original paper as accurately as possible without claiming completeness or a perfect matching.
