Arzhanov, M. M.; Mokhov, I. I. Model assessments of organic carbon amounts released from long-term permafrost under scenarios of global warming in the 21st century. (Russian, English) Zbl 1313.86004 Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 455, No. 3, 328-331 (2014); translation in Dokl. Earth Sci. 454, 346-349 (2014). A dynamic model of the thermal regime of criozone is constructed on the ground of heat and moist transfer in soils. Evaluations of carbon release from subsurface permafrost soils are performed for the most aggressive (RCP 8,5) as well as the least aggressive (RCP 2,6) anthropogenic scenarios. Average monthly atmospheric impact is calculated on the ground of global climate model in the frameworks of Coupled Model Intercomparison project, phase 5.
