Chen, Baofeng; Fu, Guohua; Tian, Yanwei A new approximation operator of attribute rough sets. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1389.68117 Math. Pract. Theory 47, No. 8, 222-227 (2017). Summary: Attribute rough sets are defined by the element attribute measures’ infimum or supremum in an equivalent class. As a result of not considering the elements whose attribute measures are between the minimum and maximum, some useful information of these elements may be lost in information processing. This paper presents a new operator of attribute rough sets and points out its several related properties. At last, an example is given to prove that the measures are rational.
