Directed pairwise balanced designs with block sizes from subsets of \(\{3, 4, \dots , 10\}\) which contain 3. (English) Zbl 1194.05010

Summary: We determine completely the spectra of directed pairwise balanced designs with block sizes from any subset of \(\{3, 4, \dots , 10\}\) which contains 3. Such designs can be used to construct single-deletion/insertion-correcting codes in which the lengths of the codewords may be different.

This reference list is based on information provided by the publisher or from digital mathematics libraries. Its items are heuristically matched to zbMATH identifiers and may contain data conversion errors. In some cases that data have been complemented/enhanced by data from zbMATH Open. This attempts to reflect the references listed in the original paper as accurately as possible without claiming completeness or a perfect matching.
