Properties of pseudo-harmonic systems. (English) Zbl 0683.93005

Summary: The concept of pseudo-harmonic system is introduced as a model of general systems theory given previously by the first author [Math. Modelling 9, 95-104 (1987; Zbl 0636.93002)]. The concept can be thought of as a more abstract form of some problems in optimization theory and is a generalization of harmonic systems introduced by the authors [Kybernetes 16, 217-221 (1987; Zbl 0644.93001)].
Some elementary properties of pseudo-harmonic systems and three basic principles are given, a few questions are posed, and a few tests of applications of the results are discussed.
