Yu, Yugang; Chu, Feng; Chen, Haoxun A note on “Coordination of production and distribution planning” by P. Chandra and M. L. Fisher. (English) Zbl 1167.90363 Eur. J. Oper. Res. 177, No. 1, 626-629 (2007). Summary: We give a counterexample to illustrate that a key theorem in the paper entitled “Coordination of production and distribution planning” by P. Chandra and M. L. Fisher [Eur. J. Oper. Res. 72, No. 3, 503–517 (1994; Zbl 0805.90051)] is not correct, and then analyze where an error occurs in the proof of the theorem.
