Gambin, W. A simplified model of rigid-ideally plastic crystal. (English) Zbl 0687.73054 J. Tech. Phys. 29, No. 2, 155-176 (1988). After a review of main results of the author [J. Tech. Phys. 28, No.3, 309-326 (1987); ibid. 29, No.2, 155-176 (1988)], a method of approximation of the Schmid law is shown. Next a comparison between the Mises and the Schmid yield surface for f.c.c. crystals is given. Finally, the case of an idealized crystal with a double slip under plane strain conditions is examined in detail.
