Summary: The estimation of the domain of attraction of a linear system subject to actuator saturation is one of the fundamental problems in nonlinear control. Solving this problem involves the treatment of the saturation function and the choice of the Lyapunov function. For the two problems, this paper reviews a series of approaches to estimate the domain of attraction of saturated system, and summarizes results in the literature, including some of our recent results.
