Rajyalakshmi, Kottapalli; Victorbabu, Bejjam R. Construction of second order slope rotatable designs under tri-diagonal correlated structure of errors using balanced incomplete block designs. (English) Zbl 1420.62342 Thail. Stat. 17, No. 1, 104-117 (2019). Summary: In this paper, second order slope rotatable design (SOSRD) under tri-diagonal correlated structure of errors using balanced incomplete block designs (BIBD) is suggested by following the works of R. N. Das [J. Indian Soc. Agric. Stat. 56, No. 2, Article No. 2, 117–130 (2003; Zbl 1188.62258); Calcutta Stat. Assoc. Bull. 54, No. 213–214, 57–70 (2003; Zbl 1076.62083)]. Further, the variance of the estimated slopes for different values of the tri-diagonal correlated coefficient \(\rho\) \((-0.9\) to \(0.9)\) for “\(\nu\) factors 3 to 8” using BIBD is studied and observed that for some factors SOSRD under correlated structure of errors using BIBD has less number of design points than the corresponding SOSRD under tri-diagonal correlated structure of errors using central composite designs (CCD).
