Franz, Silvio; Parisi, Giorgio; Urbani, Pierfrancesco Quasi-equilibrium in glassy dynamics: a liquid theory approach. (English) Zbl 1323.82044 J. Phys. A, Math. Theor. 48, No. 19, Article ID 19FT01, 8 p. (2015). The authors study the Boltzmann pseudodynamics in glassy liquids, and discuss its relation with present dynamical theories, in particular, with the mode coupling theory (MCT) of the glass transition and the theory of aging dynamics as is known from schematic spin models. The authors introduce a quasi-equilibrium formalism in the theory of liquids in order to obtain a set of coarse grained dynamical equations for the description of long time glassy relaxation.
