Steady-state response and resonant condition of a rock mass block under external periodic excitation. (English) Zbl 1313.74099

The authors discuss the theory of a deep rock mass being a complex system of block structure based on the model of discontinuous and self-stress deep rock mass. The stationary state of block structure of rock mass is studied under external periodic excitation. A resonance equation and a resonance condition are obtained for the block structure of rock mass, under external periodic excitation. The effect of local mass and local stress state between adjacent rock blocks in the structure of rock mass block is analyzed as a response to the steady-state displacement of rocks.
