Classes of permutation polynomials based on cyclotomy and an additive analogue. (English) Zbl 1261.11081
Chudnovsky, David (ed.) et al., Additive number theory. Festschrift in honor of the sixtieth birthday of Melvyn B. Nathanson. New York, NY: Springer (ISBN 978-0-387-37029-3/hbk; 978-0-387-68361-4/ebook). 355-361 (2010).
Summary: The author presents a construction of permutation polynomials based on cyclotomy, an additive analogue of this construction, and a generalization of this additive analogue which appears to have no multiplicative analogue. These constructions generalize recent results of J. E. Marcos [Finite Fields Appl. 17, No. 2, 105–112 (2011; Zbl 1261.11080)].
