Note on the homotopy of the space of maps between real projective spaces. (English) Zbl 1247.55004

In this paper the author studies the homotopy type of the space consisting of all base-point preserving continuous maps from the \(m\) dimensional real projective space into the \(n\) dimensional real projective space. When \(2 \leq m < n\), it has two path connected components and he investigates whether these two path-components have the same homotopy type or not.
