Homotopy perturbation method (HPM) for solving higher order boundary value problems (BVP). (English) Zbl 1245.34015

Summary: We apply the homotopy perturbation method for solving boundary value problems of higher order by reformulating them as an equivalent system of integral equations. One can obtain this equivalent formulation by using a suitable transformation. Analytical results of the integral equations have been obtained in terms of convergent series with easily computable components. Few examples are given to illustrate the efficiency and implementation of the homotopy perturbation method. Comparisons are made to confirm the reliability of the homotopy perturbation method.
