Automatic synthesis of chaotic attractors. (English) Zbl 1211.37040

In the paper under review, the author introduces an automatic synthesis methodology of multi-scroll chaotic attractors via staircase nonlinear functions. The author considers a third order nonlinear system with a parameter. Real active device parameters are used to compute the parameters of the chaotic attractors. Chaotic attractors in 1-direction and 2-direction are considered. The author (via numerical simulations) shows that, the nonlinear system can be synthesized with electronic circuits.
