Abdallah, Jalal M. Optimal economic dispatch control: the multi criteria consideration in the electrical systems by the adaptive neuro-fuzzy algorithm. (English) Zbl 1190.62173 Int. J. Appl. Math. 22, No. 7, 1179-1193 (2009). Summary: This paper presents a hybrid adaptive neuro-fuzzy optimizing algorithm for solving the multi-criteria economic dispatching problem. The main objective of this study is that it shows an effective solution strategy of solving the real time optimal economic dispatch control problem with a global consideration by creating a multi criteria model. This model integrates the economical, environmental, security and the load shedding criteria as penalty factors in terms of cost calculations and optimizations. The hybrid adaptive neuro-fuzzy algorithm has the coordination procedure which is illustrated in detail. The neural network estimates the acceleration of the multi criteria consideration and fuzzy logic adapts the covariance of these multi criteria. Also, the explained procedure leads to set the optimal parameters of the electrical systems and as a result minimizes the cost functions, during the online-operating processes.
