Kaushal, R. S. What remains invariant? (English) Zbl 1184.00024 Gaṇita-Bhāratī class="zbmathjax-space">26, No. 1-4, 181-191 (2004). Summary: Several analogous mathematical constructs from different disciplines are brought together and analyzed within a philosophical framework proposed in general for the contents of a structural analogy. The analysis itself will hopefully be a guiding principle for a search for new phenomena in Nature in which the ‘meanings’ of missing analogues can be sought in different disconnected contexts. The concept of ‘structural invariance’ is proposed. MSC: 00A79 Physics 00A30 Philosophy of mathematics 01A05 General histories, source books PDFBibTeX XMLCite \textit{R. S.
