A parabolic-hyperbolic system modelling a moving cell. (English) Zbl 1178.35389
Summary: We study the existence and uniqueness of local solutions for a moving boundary problem governed by a coupled parabolic-hyperbolic system. The results can be applied to cell movement, extending a result obtained by Choi, Groulx, and Lui in 2005.
