A nonoscillatory finite volume method for 2D shallow water equations on unstructured meshes. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1174.76341
Summary: In this paper, we construct a second-order nonoscillatory finite volume method for solving shallow water equations on two-dimensional unstructured meshes. The second-order TVD Runge-Kutta time discretization is used. A least square linear reconstruction is constructed on every triangular mesh. Numerical experiments for 2D dam break problem are performed, the numerical result is satisfactory.
