Numerical modelling of flow with heat transfer in petroleum reservoirs. (English) Zbl 1134.76466
Summary: We model and analyse the single-phase flow in a petroleum reservoir by taking into account a nonstandard energy equation. The numerical approximation is based on Raviart-Thomas mixed finite elements and a code is developed and validated.
