Common fixed point theorems for set-valued mappings. (English) Zbl 1112.47047
Some common fixed point theorems for pairs of multivalued maps are presented. The maps act on closed subsets of complete metrically convex metric spaces and need not be selfmaps. The paper generalizes results obtained by B. E. Rhoades in [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 20, No. 1, 9–12 (1997; Zbl 0882.47038)].
