Boundary conditions in TLM diffusion modelling. (English) Zbl 1103.78007

The connection algorithms used in transmission-line matrix (TLM) modelling of the diffusion process for describing the boundary conditions in both – line and link resistor nodal configurations – have been derived. Robin conditions and Dirichlet-type boundary conditions are discussed. Numerical results are shown to be in excellent agreement with available analytical solutions.
