Random and deterministic fixed point theory for generalized contractive maps. (English) Zbl 1088.47044
In the paper under review, the authors prove fixed point and homotopy results for generalized contractive maps on metric spaces. Random analogues of these results are also obtained. Finally, the deterministic fixed point and homotopy results are further extended to gauge spaces.
