Automaton modeling of collective procedures. (English. Russian original) Zbl 1062.93004

Autom. Remote Control 60, No. 12, Part 2, 1791-1796 (1999); translation from Avtom. Telemekh. 1999, No. 12, 141-147 (1999).
This work is dedicated to the problem of how to choose the time interval taken to carry out a collective procedure in which a definite number of individually named or unnamed persons must participate. The model of the problem is in the area of finite automata theory and, it is stated in the publication, it has a solution in analytical form. Unfortunately, because of the absence of experimental testing, we have no confidence in the given conclusions.
