Modelling of unilateral creep damage. (English) Zbl 1054.74540

A continuum model of creep for initially isotropic materials with parallel microcracks is developed. Tensor variable of damage and scalar parameter of damage are introduced. The proposed model describes both unilateral creep damage and anisotropy caused by damage. Basic experiments which are necessary for determination of numeric values of model constants are formulated. The obtained numeric results are compared with experimental data for time of damage under multiaxial loading.
