Weak solutions with decreasing energy of incompressible Euler equations. (English) Zbl 1011.35107
The paper deals with weak solutions in the sense of variational formulation to the Euler equations in the case of an incompressible fluid. The existence of weak solutions with monotonically decreasing kinetic energy is shown. Moreover, an example of a weak solution with decreasing energy is constructed.
