Riemann problem with nonlinear resonance effects and well-balanced Godunov scheme for shallow fluid flow past an obstacle. (English) Zbl 1001.35085
The paper presents a new kind of numerical processing of the source term arising in shallow water systems with an arbitrary bottom topography which is modeled by a linearly degenerated field. Thereby a Godunov scheme is proposed which increases the accuracy and preserves the balance between the source terms and the fluxes.
