Some a posteriori error estimates of the finite-difference streamline-diffusion method for convection-dominated diffusion equations. (English) Zbl 0990.65103
Authors’ abstract: Some a posteriori error estimates of the finite-difference streamline-diffusion method for one- and two-dimensional time-dependent convection-dominated diffusion equations are presented, which can be used to reasonably adjust space mesh. Numerical results show that this method of local refinement is feasible and effective.
