On the solution of heat transfer to micropolar fluid from a non-isothermal stretching sheet with injection. (English) Zbl 0969.76513

Summary: We analyze the heat transfer from a stretching sheet to a micropolar fluid. The governing equations for momentum, angular momentum and energy are solved numerically using the method of successive approximation. Solutions for the flow field, temperature distribution and Nusselt numbers are obtained, and good agreement is found between the analytical predictions and the numerical simulation.
