$$[0,1]$$-valued logic: A natural generalization of Boolean logic. (English) Zbl 0965.03027
Let $$[0,1]$$ be the unit interval of the reals. The author defines a new $$[0,1]$$-valued logic, which is a natural generalization of two-valued classical logic. The new logic uses $$[0,1]$$-valued logic functions, which are generalizations of Boolean and/or pseudo-Boolean functions. $$[0,1]$$-valued logic originated from the author’s research in the field of operations research.
