Summary: We present advanced mesh generation and update methods for parallel three-dimensional computation of complex flows. The problems include complex geometries, unsteady behavior, and moving boundaries and interfaces, such as those encountered in fluid-object interactions. Parallel three-dimensional simulation of 1000 spheres falling in a liquid-filled tube, and other computations, are presented to demonstrate the challenges involved in this class of flow problems and the methods developed to address these challenges.
