Ivlev, R. S.; Sokolova, S. P. Construction of vectorial control over a multivariable object specified via intervals. (Russian) Zbl 0942.65074 Vychisl. Tekhnol. 4, No. 4, 3-13 (1999). A modal controller synthesis is considered for a linear multivariable time-invariant control object specified via intervals. This problem is reduced to solvability of a Sylvester matrix equation. Inner interval estimates are found by an algebraic approach to a generalized solution set of the Sylvester interval matrix equation.
