Response surface designs where levels of some factors are difficult to change. (English) Zbl 0923.62083
Summary: This article considers response surface designs in which the number of levels of some of the factors are constrained. Two general types of designs are examined: CUBE designs and STAR designs. The specific factor levels are chosen to give variance contours with a high level of sphericity, thus providing designs that are close to rotatable.
