The complex \(K\)-groups of the projective orthogonal groups of degree \(4\ell +2\). (English) Zbl 0905.55004
The author computes \(K^*(PO (4\ell+2))\) for \(\ell\geq 2\), the \(K\)-groups of the projective orthogonal groups \(PO (4\ell +2)\). He gives explicit ring generators, thus improving the result of Hodgkin for these groups. His method is different from that of Hodgkin.
