Hansen [SIAM J. Numer. Anal. 29, No. 5, 1493-1503 (1992; Zbl 0756.65035)] and J. Rohn [Interval Comput. 4, 13-21 (1993; Zbl 0830.65019)] on computing bounds on solutions of a system of linear interval equations with unit midpoint matrix are extended to the case when the system matrix is an \(H\)-matrix. The bounds are exact when the midpoint matrix is diagonal. Some particular cases with inverse positive system matrices are also considered.
