Löhner, Rainald Regridding surface triangulations. (English) Zbl 0862.65010 J. Comput. Phys. 126, No. 1, 1-10 (1996). The author presents an advancing front surface gridding technique that operates on discretely defined surfaces. The basic technique consists in marching into the as yet ungridded region by adding one face at a time. A detailed algorithm gives the further steps. The author discusses different aspects that are required to make the procedure reliable for complex geometries. A lot of examples show how the method works.
