Generation of cocyclic Hadamard matrices. (English) Zbl 0838.05018
Bosma, Wieb (ed.) et al., Computational algebra and number theory. Based on a meeting on computational algebra and number theory, held at Sydney University, Sydney, Australia, November of 1992. Dordrecht: Kluwer Academic Publishers. Math. Appl., Dordr. 325, 279-290 (1995).
From the authors’ abstract: The theory of cocyclic development of designs is applied to binary matrices, and an algorithm for generating cocyclic binary matrices is outlined. The eventual goal is to generate and classify all cocylic Hadamard matrices of small side, in terms of an underlying group \(G\) and a cocycle \(f: G\times G\to Z_2\). Preliminary results are presented and open problems are posed.
