Pressure in lattice Boltzmann simulations of flow around a cylinder. (English) Zbl 0832.76079
Summary: The expression for the pressure in lattice Boltzmann realizations of the Navier-Stokes equations involves compressibility effects. The pressure in two-dimensional steady and unsteady flow around cylinder is obtained numerically in a lattice Boltzmann scheme for the first time and compared with experimental and finite-difference results.
