A problem of small thermoelastic deformation superposed on finite thermoelastic deformation. (English) Zbl 0809.73013
The problem of an initially stressed elastic body at a constant initial temperature, that is subjected to infinitesimal thermal stress, is considered. The body in the deformed configuration is bounded by the surfaces $$z=\pm h$$, $$\phi=0$$, $$\phi=\phi_ 1$$, $$r=r_ 1$$ and $$r=r_ 2$$, where $$r$$, $$\phi$$, $$z$$ are cylindrical coordinates. The solutions for displacements and temperature are found.
